TakingUpResidence (TUR) is an independent platform devoted to individuals taking up residence abroad. We provide expanding coverage of a number of countries by offering relevant, concise and up to date information and guidance, access to key local information providers, and (starting in November 2010) a comprehensive Expat Channel directory for professional and reliable service providers, focused on supporting expats before, during and/or after taking up residence abroad.

The advertising formats fit well with the overall design of the website. Our visitors have suggested that these formats are the least invasive, which in turn, reflects positively on our advertisers’ offerings. Thus, ultimately increasing their return on investment.

The TUR country profiles have clear segmentation per country through 19 different sections (channels). This allows us to optimise campaigns via these specific channels. In Januari 2011, TUR had more than 15.000 unique visitors.

As an exclusive sponsor on TUR, you’ll be able to promote your company as the online source for expats within a certain area of expertise.

Your banner, with logo, text and url of your choice will either be visible

on top of the Expat Channel country-section (channel) page(s) OR
on the full right side in any section (channel) of one of the country guides

The cost for either option is 50 Euro ($61 USD) p/month.
TUR will provide monthly reports of impressions and clicks on sponsor ads and listings.

Premium Business partnership

Promote your company to expats and be the expert they connect with, and that can help them meet their needs.

Benefits:

A 1-year listing on Expat Channel : Your logo, text and link on the listing page of the country-section of your choice. Promote your company, products and /or services on your individual Information page.

Unlimited lead generation: We will not charge anything for any of the click-throughs to your website or any leads generated.

Monthly reports of impressions and clicks on sponsor ads and listings, provided by TUR.

The cost is 10 Euro ($12 USD) p/month. Comparable to a CPM of 10 Euro.
Subscription period: 1 year.

Exclusive sponsorship of 1 country and section: Your banner, with logo, text and url of your choice on top of the Expat Channel country section page. This banner is exclusive, which implies your company is positioned as the provider within this area of expertise for a particular country.

Exclusive sponsorship of 1 country profile and category: Your exclusive banner will be on the right side of each article within this country-profile-category. See for example Belgium – Finance .

50% discount on sponsoring a country category or section: Non-Exclusive Business Partners pay 50 Euro per month for exclusive sponsorship of a country category or section. Exclusive Business Partners pay only 25 Euro.
