| Privacy Policy |
| TUR is committed to respecting the privacy rights of website visitors. The following policy describes how we collect, protect and use information we receive from website visitors. What information do we collect?
How do we use your information? We may use the information we collect from you when you register on the site to enter or respond to a survey, request information or contact by a Service provider, register as a Service provider, surf the website or use certain other site features in the following ways:
How do we protect visitor information? We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained on secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you, as a Service provider, place an order or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be accessed only in the manner stated above.Do we use "cookies"? Yes. Cookies are pieces of information that a site sends to your computer while you are viewing the site. Cookies work in combination with content within the site itself to capture and remember information. They are used to track your activity and understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity. This enables us to provide you with services and/or to improve your site experience. We also use cookies to provide us with aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third party service providers to assist us in serving cookies, however, they are not permitted to use the information collected except to help TUR conduct and improve its business. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You can do this through your browser (i.e. Safari, Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you won't have access to many features that make your site experience more efficient -- like the features mentioned above -- and some of our services will not function properly. However, you can still access most of the features on the TUR website. As cookies are used by TUR to track Service provider subscriptions through the order and browsing process, you won't be able to place an on-line order if you disable cookies. Service providers who disable cookies can still place an order by contacting TUR's Customer Support.Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties? TUR is the sole owner of the information collected on this website. We will not sell, share or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this privacy policy. TUR will not provide any personally identifying information on individual subscribers to any third party. All personally identifiable information will be stored at TUR B.V. in The Netherlands. Your data may be transferred to web site hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, that we don't consider to be 'outside parties', conducting TUR's business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when release is necessary to comply with the law. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information in aggregate form may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. How can you opt-out? To completely opt-out of receiving TUR e-mail go to the Opt in /out form where you will have the following choices:
Cancelling Subscriptions Service Providers may at any time cancel their subscription by using the Support contact form. While subscriptions are paid on an annual basis, please note that no refunds are given should you choose to cancel your subscription prior to the renewal period.Third party links As part of our service we include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).Forum guidelines / code of conduct By registering and participating in TUR forum discussions you agree to follow our Forum code of conduct. If you should not agree you have the right to no longer participate in forum discussions at your own discretion. While the Administrator and Moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not TUR, the Administrator, Moderators and/or Web-Master (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately, permanently or temporarily banned. You agree not to post any forum or private messages advertising or promoting a particular website, product, service and/or venture (for profit or not) unless it is a direct response and relevant to the request for such information. If the user continues to break policy the said user’s account will be reviewed by TUR and removed if need be. It is at the sole discretion of TUR to remove violating accounts.Changes to our policy If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page. Policy changes will apply only to information collected after the date of the change. This policy was last modified on the 1st of July, 2008. |
