Non-Transferable Subscription

TUR grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use and display the information, documents, images and produce reports contained in or made available through TUR solely for your own internal purposes. All rights not expressly granted herein by TUR to you are reserved by TUR and/or its licensors.

The entire content included in this website, including but not limited to text, graphics or code is copyrighted as a collective work under the Benelux and other copyright laws, and is the property of TUR. The collective work includes works that are licensed to TUR. Copyright 2007-2008, TUR. All rights reserved. You may display and, subject to any expressly stated restrictions or limitations relating to specific material, download or print portions of the material from the different areas of the website solely for your own non-commercial use, or to place a subscription order with TUR. Claims of Copyright Infringement

TUR B.V. ("TUR") respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes infringement on TUR’s web site, please provide the following information to TUR’s Legal Team:

an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;
a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site;
your address, telephone number, and email address;
a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your Notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

Rights and Permissions

Takingupresidency™(TUR) and other marks indicated on our site are registered trademarks of TUR or its affiliates and/or subsidiaries, in the Netherlands and other countries. TUR and other TUR graphics, logos, page headers, button icons, scripts, and service names are trademarks of TUR or its affiliates and/or subsidiaries. TUR trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not TUR, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits TUR. All other trademarks not owned by TUR, its affiliates or its subsidiaries that appear on this site are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to, or sponsored by TUR, its affiliates or its subsidiaries.

Cancellations and Refunds

All requests for service provider or website visitor/user accounts are subject to TUR’s acceptance and approval, which is in its sole discretion. TUR reserves the right to cancel or terminate any account at any time if due cause is given. If you are a service provider, and your credit card has already been charged for a subscription that is subsequently cancelled at TURs discretion, TUR shall issue a credit to your account for the remaining subscription period. Service providers may cancel at any time via the Support contact form. Annual service provider subscription fees are considered non refundable and can not be refunded.

User Generated Content

TUR accepts no liability regarding User-Generated Content but is always authorised on own initiative or on request to screen, refuse to post, remove or edit User-Generated Content. Objectionable content that will be removed immediately from the website includes, but is not limited to: pornography of any kind, websites linking to pornography, pornography portals and/or child pornography. Any use of any content on this website, including, without limitation, User Generated Content will be at your own risk. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you acknowledge and agree TUR is not responsible for any user generated content that purports to give advice on taking up residence. Always seek the advice of a professional expert or other qualified provider with any question you may have regarding taking up residence.

You may not post or otherwise distribute content to the website which TUR in its sole discretion determines to be abusive, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, an impersonation of others, fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, in violation of a copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right of another, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, in violation of any other right of TUR or another party, illegal, or otherwise objectionable to TUR. You may not upload commercial content on the website or use the website to solicit others to join or become members of any other commercial online service or other organization. The only exception applies to Service providers who are allowed to upload a picture and/or logo of their company on their profile page for representational purposes only. You may be required to register and/or agree to additional terms of use prior to being permitted to post or otherwise distribute User Generated Content to this website.

Access and Interface

By accessing the TUR web site (at www.takingupresidency.com), you agree that you will not use any robot, spider, other automatic device, or manual process to monitor or copy the TUR web pages or the content contained herein without our prior written consent.
