Waiting Lists
There are often waiting lists to get into preschools, as facilities are limited, especially in small towns and in the countryside. It’s probably a good idea to visit the preschool you are interested in one to two years before you plan on needing it and fill out an application. As is the case in other countries, if a private school has an excellent reputation it is common to find a waiting list for admission, despite the high cost of tuition. If you are considering placing your child in a private school, contact them as soon as possible to find out if there is a waiting list. Keep in mind, however, that the quality of education in the public schools is excellent, and there are no waiting lists there.
