Social Insurance Cards

If you are employed, your employer will take care of making your social insurance payments by deducting the amount from your pay check, and you will be issued a grey social insurance card. If you are not employed, you have to report to your OASI compensation office in person to become enrolled. The address of your local office can be found on the last page of the telephone directory.
