Highly Skilled Migrants

While being in a highly skilled profession will certainly create a positive influence on the decision to grant you residency in Switzerland, it is not a guarantee, and there is no special handling or facilitating of your application, per se. First choice of residency goes to EU/EFTA nationals, whether skilled or unskilled, and only if your particular skill cannot be found among those applicants will your application be considered.
